How To: Adjust the Threshold of Your Exterior Door

This post was written by McArthur Homes

Adam, the Helpful Handyman, from McArthur Homes, shows us how to adjust the threshold on our exterior doors. In this video, Adam will demonstrate how to adjust your threshold up or down in about one minute.

McArthur Homes installs adjustable thresholds on all of our new homes in Utah so that you can adjust them as your home settles. If your front door is feeling a little drafty, simply adjust the threshold up. If the door feels like it is too tight or difficult to close, adjust the threshold down. It’s quick, easy and a great maintenance tip for your new home in Utah!

Adam will be sharing a new tip with us each month, so check back for more great maintenance suggestions to help you care for your new home in Utah.
